Oops so I slipped again

Oops sorry about that. They gave me a slight promotion which meant a lot more work and since then pretty much everything I do online has slipped to unreachable levels. I was going to try to make up for lost time this weekend and then I found out I’m working because I’m going to take the 15th off (first day off in a long time) so I’ve got to be there tomorrow…. errr today.

So I bought my first Mac, a MacBook Pro. My crappy Gateway was so slow and unbearable to deal with that I sold it as soon as I could. It will be good for someone that doesn’t want to do more than surf the net and a few simple Word Docs. For me it was absolute hell. I LOVE my speedy little MacBook Pro. I’ve only had it for a few days and I’ve picked up the Windows to Mac switch pretty quickly. I’ll attempt to blog some other updates on Sunday when I get some more time. For now peace out my lovely readers.

Life Update

So in two days (err nights I guess) my night job is done and I've already fully jumped into my other job. I bought a cheaper Gateway laptop about a three weeks ago. My reasoning is I'll save now for an iMac. I'm looking for an apartment closer to my new job in Berkeley or anything near BART so I don't have to worry about leaving my car (which has already been hit parking there!) overnight at BART if I go out after work which already ends pretty late in the evening.

So now my car has a nice sized dent in the side. I'll be taking it in for an assessment this week and I'll most likely get the check from the person who hit me and use it and my car as a trade in on a new Honda Fit next month. I don't want to put the money back into my nine year old car which already has gotten over $1,000 of work in it this year alone.

I found an awesome newer makeup line that's cheap and good quality. Every product is only $1! www.eyeslipsface.com

Mission Upgrade Memory: Bust

Well today my Dad and I headed to Best Buy to get some memory for my computer. The first guy I spoke with was no help at all. The second guy went over to his computer, found exactly how much memory I could go up to and then showed me the one to buy. The first guy could have easily done this but didn’t. Got back, opened up my laptop and noticed this memory is way too big to fit into my computer. Back to Best Buy I went. I asked if this was the correct memory and they told me they weren’t allowed to TELL me unless I paid them $29.99 or how to install it. Finally a woman who worked there came over and told me it was the wrong memory and they didn’t sell the right kind. How hard would that have been to tell me this in the first place?!
