Kodak Part II
I noticed a lot of people are finding my blog because of the question I asked about the Kodak Commercial. Anyone getting an answer?
Edit: I e-mail Kodak so I could give everyone an answer but they won’t reveal his name:
“As a matter of policy and due to contract clauses, we are not in a position to identify the person in the ad. However, while he is an actor, he is not a celebrity. You can view the ad by returning to our homepage and entering “It’s a Place Called Kodak.”
No Sales For Me
I completely avoided the sales yesterday. I got some laundry done, took the dog to the park and cleaned up my apartment and didn’t once regret not being out in the shopping frenzy. Being clastrophoic is part of my reasoning but also hearing year after year about people being trampled and nearly killed just makes me sick. I heard this year a pregnant woman was trampled and needed to be hospitalized. All for big sales? Is it really worth it?
Chick Flick Night
I had some paperwork to do so I rented two chick flicks out of the machine at Safeway to watch while I did it. The Perfect Man and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. So far I’m slighly disapointed with The Perfect Man. Not a real good plot and I’m not terribly impressed with the acting.
So I did end up getting my laptop upgraded. I found out I only have two 256mb cards and one is hidden under the keyboard and pretty much can’t be touched. The other was the one I kept seeing so I pulled that out and put a 512mb chip in. I wish I could have gotten the original cheaper one at Best Buy but it was just too late.
I felt girly today. I watched Oprah’s Favorite Things today. I never watch Oprah but I was curious to see what was on her list. She gave everything on her list to Katrina volunteers that were in the audience and a couple of their stories were shown. Some of the items she gave away included iPods, Blackberries, $100 tins of Popcorn, Burberry Coats and bags, Vaio laptops.. etc. The stuff probably totalled over $5,000. The Vaio alone was $1,600. I loved the Nike shoes she showed. They’re workout shoes which are made to be worn without socks and can be personalized. They’ll be going on my Christmas list.
Kodak Commercial
Can anyone tell me who the actor is in the Kodak digital video camera commercial that says “Oh sorry it’s my first movie”? I don’t think he’s an unknown by the way he says the line.
Refer here for the answer.
Mission Upgrade Memory: Bust
Well today my Dad and I headed to Best Buy to get some memory for my computer. The first guy I spoke with was no help at all. The second guy went over to his computer, found exactly how much memory I could go up to and then showed me the one to buy. The first guy could have easily done this but didn’t. Got back, opened up my laptop and noticed this memory is way too big to fit into my computer. Back to Best Buy I went. I asked if this was the correct memory and they told me they weren’t allowed to TELL me unless I paid them $29.99 or how to install it. Finally a woman who worked there came over and told me it was the wrong memory and they didn’t sell the right kind. How hard would that have been to tell me this in the first place?!
Umm…
Why the heck hasn’t this guy been committed yet?

Not home yet
Not home yet but now I’m in a place where I can post regularly. I was using Panera to just check e-mail and news when I was in Louisville. My laptop has decided it’s this trip where it’s going to have problems. My battery isn’t lasting anymore when it’s unplugged but I already have one on the way. Really didn’t help when I needed it on a two hour layover yesterday and my adapter was packed. My trip has been going really well. The busiest few days are over and now I can relax and spend some time with my Dad. A cat I’ve had since I was little is here and she used to be huge. I’m a bit worried she’s losing it because of age. It could be she’s getting more exercise in the new house but there’s always the age concern. I believe she’s 14 now. My Dad and I are making a Petsmart run and I’m going to try to get him to switch her to a better food. Hopefully Natural Balance as it’d be a good choice for her. We’ll see.

I still can’t rip my DMB cd. I’m sticking to itunes.
See You Soon
I’m going out of town for a few days, will have my laptop but I don’t know if I’ll post when I’m gone. Definitely don’t expect anything until at least Wednesday. I’ll be back on the 16th.
