Moral Question
This test only has one question, but it’s a very important one. By
giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The
test features an unlikely, fictional situation in which you will have to
make a decision.Remember that your answer needs to be honest, and spontaneous. Please
scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.————————-
THE SITUATION
You are in New Orleans, There is chaos all around you caused by a
hurricane with severe flooding. You are photo journalist working for a
major newspaper, and you’re caught in the middle of this epic disaster. You’re trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people
swirling around you, and disappearing under the water.===============================================
THE TEST
Suddenly you see a man in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying
not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer. Somehow the man
looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It’s the President,
George W. Bush.At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him
under forever. You have two options- you can save the life of the
President, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo,
documenting the death of one of the world’s most famous men.===============================================
THE QUESTION
Here’s the question, and please give an honest answer…….
Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?
Black and white.. Definitely.
Black and white…a coloured caption of his last words would stand out more that way.
p.s. Thanks for stopping by!
Black and white
I’d actually go with colour. You can Photoshop it to be black and white later if you need a B&W shot, but if you shoot B&W, you can’t colour it later.
I agree with Ian… Color all the way. It’s like a haircut: you can always go shorter, but once you cross the line, there’s no going back to longer.
And honestly people, I just got my hair cut. I’m really not weird enough to come up with crazy analogies like that on a regular basis…

You would put aside your liberal pissant ideas, and save the man, because its the right thing to do.
No you wouldn’t, you’d take the shot.
HAHAHAHAHAHA. That is kind of funny. I was honestly expecting a “save or shoot” question.
While akulbe (Comment 9) is right, I’ll answer the question as it’s intended.
While I LOVE black and white when it’s done correctly, I’d go color.
There are certain features that you won’t get in each color type, but a color photo can show off more.
The state of the person, the state of the environment around, so on and so forth.
Here’s the real question;
Are you going to post an answer on which side is which?
NO the morally right thing to do is take the picture. Stop the treason try to save the country
get a GREAT photograph in the process. what could be more RIGHT about that
Hehehe
Saying its morally wrong to let him go is like saying its morally wrong to let Bin Laden fall to his death if you have the chance to save him
Sean Penn would save the President with his leaky boat and his personal photographer would take the picture. The President would finish bailing out Sean’s boat with a Dixie cup. They would all be rescued by General Honore. Then the General would yell to the liberal press, “You are stuck on stupid!”
Minister Farrakhan would save the people trapped in the water by beaming then to the mothership. And I’d look for Karl Rove who blew up the levee!
